Login Options

  • Desktop: Client Portal Link
  • Mobile App:  iOS download link , Android download link

Having Trouble Signing In?

Desktop:

  1. Click on the Client Portal Link here: https://portal.mosslusewomble.com/client-login 
    1. This is a permanent link so you may bookmark this link for the future
  2. Enter your email then select “Sign in with Email” button
  3. Check email for Magic Link
  4. Once received, click the Magic Link on the same device and you will be directed to the Client Portal (This will give you access to all portals, both personal and business - if applicable)

**The next time you login, the instructions will be the same. If you are experiencing issues with this, please reach out to your MLW advisor for further assistance. The magic link is the most secure form of access but we can give you a traditional password option if you are repeatedly encountering issues

 

Mobile App:

  1. Download Accounting Client Portal App - Keeper 
  2. Navigate to your Apple Store or Google Play App 
    1. Search for “Accounting Client Portal”
    2. Download and Verify that the Icon matches the image

Login Instructions:

  • Open app and Sign in using your email
  • Magic Link will be sent to the email address given
  • Once received, tap the Magic Link from the device you wish to login from and you will be directed back to the Client Portal App

Written Instructions on Navigating the Client Portal

Each tab within the Client Portal serves a specific function. Below is a detailed guide:

Dashboard

  • After logging in, you'll be directed to the dashboard or home page (as seen in the image below)
  • On the dashboard you will be able to:
    • Upload files 
    • See any outstanding questions that need to be addressed
    • View firm wide announcements from our team
    • Quickly access your monthly financials

File Dropbox

  • This is where one will upload and store important documents securely. Simply drag a file into the drop box area and upload it.
    • Note: We understand that some prefer to email information, but we highly encourage you to start using the client portal to upload any documents going forward to keep all documents in the same place.

Transaction Qs

  • Here you will find questions that we are asking you to answer about transactions on your books for a given entity.
  • How to answer suspense questions effectively and efficiently

💡Quick Tips for Answering Questions Efficiently

  • Use checkboxes to select multiple transactions and provide bulk responses.
  • Utilize the search feature to filter transactions by category or vendor.
  • Provide invoices promptly to reduce back-and-forth communication.

Non-Transaction Qs

  • Here you will find any questions that we have for you not related to specific transactions. Some questions you may see include, but are not limited to, the following
    • “Any new bank/credit card accounts?” - To make sure you haven't opened any new accounts in the previous month.
    • “Any new loans?” - To make sure you haven't started any new loans
    • W9 requests - If we see a vendor that we think we may need to send a 1099 to at the end of the year, we will request for a W9 for that vendor
  • File uploads/attachments
    • New bank account - please work a member of our team to get us access to the account
    • New loans - upload the document with the terms/disbursement schedule to the non-transaction question
    • Upload any W9s next to the vendor-related question in the portal

Announcements

  • View important updates and reminder notifications from our team.
  • Stay informed about upcoming deadlines, and changes.

Financial Reports

  • This is where you will find your monthly financial statements for the entity you are toggled on. 
  • If you have other businesses that we do services for, those financials will be on a different portal page. (Use the drop-down list in the upper right corner to toggle between those entities).

Questions for Us

  • This is your opportunity to ask us any questions that you have related to your books. (Responses will be provided via portal messaging)
    • Your entire MLW planning team will receive a notification when you submit a question
    • If urgent: You can always email us with the specific details

Resources

  • This tab holds miscellaneous items that might be useful to you, such as templates for:
    • Employee Payroll Form for new hires
    • Form I-9
    • Form W-9

Files

The Files tab is very important, as this is essentially what is replacing ShareFile. Meaning this is the place to upload all requested documents from our firm as well as view all necessary documents that may need a response/ signature on or are for your personal/business use. 

**Note: There is a “Files” tab on your business entity page, and a “Files” tab on your personal entity page. You can switch between business and personal pages by using the navigation menu in the top right-hand corner, ensuring that you are always working within the correct portal.

  • Business Page - These are the folders/documents that live on your business page
    • Client Uploads Inbox → This is where any documents will go that you upload for us. You should only upload business documents here. Any personal documents will go on the personal page
    • 1099s → This is where we will upload 1099s for you to send to vendors at the end of the year
    • 401(k) Retirement Plan → If you have your 401(k) with MLW, this is where you find all associated documents
    • BPPs → This is where you will find your Business Personal Property Rendition Forms that you file each year
    • Other Files → This will hold any other miscellaneous files. We also may create additional folders if necessary
  • Personal Page - These are the folders/documents that live on your personal page
    • Client Uploads Inbox → This is where you can upload any personal documents to us
    • Consult Reports → This is where you consult summary reports will be posted after your consult
    • Other Files → This will hold any other miscellaneous files. We also may create additional folders if necessary
    • Tax Returns → This is where both business and personal returns will be available/ accessible to you. (Once the returns have been filed)
