Gusto Electronic W-2 Delivery
Gusto offers a convenient service of electronic W-2 delivery each January. For employees, this is the fastest possible way to receive their W-2 each year. For employers, that means fewer W-2s that need to be manually printed and distributed to employees.
However, employees must opt-in to be able to receive their W-2s electronically with these quick steps.
Electronic Opt-In Steps
Login at https://app.gusto.com
Click on Settings (bottom-left corner)
Click on Documents
Click on Tax Document Delivery, then edit to set to Paperless
This is only a one-time process, once it is completed the employee will be opted-in for all future periods (unless they choose to revoke).
